FAQ

What’s the difference between a Gillette 2-blade disposable and a Gillette MACH3 razor?
Gillette MACH3 razors have better blades with sharper edges for a more comfortable shave than Gillette 2-blade disposables. These blades are strengthened with an atomic carbon coating to help keep them sharper for longer. Gillette MACH3 razors have a skin guard with 10 flexible fins made from soft elastomer. They gently stretch the skin to create a smooth, even surface before the blades.

What’s the difference between a Gillette MACH3 razor and a Gillette Fusion5 razor?
The Gillette MACH3 has 3 blades while the Gillette Fusion5 has 5 blades and a precision trimmer.

What are Microfins, and what do they do?
Microfins precede the blades and smooth out the skin before the first blade cuts the first hair. So you get a close, comfortable shave.

What does a Lubrastrip do?
A Lubrastrip is a thin strip that sits at the top of the razor, releasing lubricants while you shave, to produce a great glide.

Bad blades

The green packs were far superior to these blue packs. These blue packs are on par with Bic disposable blades. Make a better blade that is not made in China.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We always want you to have the best, smooth shave and are sorry this isn't what you experienced with your recent pack. For the best shave be sure to apply plenty of shaving gel, foam or cream to soften the hair and reduce friction. Shave in the direction of hair growth for a more comfortable shave, or against the direction of growth for an even smoother shave. Do not shave in both directions. At the end of every shave, rinse the blade thoroughly and shake off excess water before storing. Do not wipe the blade. If you would like to share more about your experience, please give us a call at (800) 445-5388. We're always here to help.

Change for the worse. Bad product now

I have used Mach3 Turbo exclusively for 15 years. Was a great and reliable product that delivered a great shave. The new razor is cheap and shaves terribly. Cost cutting gone awry by P&G!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Our Mach3 Turbo blades have been upgraded in 2017. The new blades are designed to be sharper and the lubrastrips have also been made larger. We're sorry to learn that you feel let down by the upgrades. We work hard to make sure only the best enters your home. We'd like to share your feedback with the rest of the team and ask if you could call us directly at (800) 445-5388.

With the updates we made to our Mach 3 blades you should still be getting the smooth shave we expect. When we updated our Mach 3 blades, we made the first two blades to have the sharpest blades. We also changed the cartridge design to have 3 support bars instead of one. This will give you more control over the blades. If you would like to share more about your experience, please give us a call at (800) 445-5388. We'd like to help you get back to blades you can trust.
